JAPAN VINTAGE This is a NEWSBOY CAP made from indigo dyed cotton linen from the Meiji to Taisho eras.

The fabric used is old cotton and linen cloth woven in the Meiji and Taisho periods. It is unknown what it was used for, but the warp is cotton and the weft is hemp.

If you want to express the texture of the fabric, it is a fabric that feels the texture of cotton thread so much that you can't tell the texture of hemp. However, it also has the softness that is unique to linen, and although it is a thick and sturdy fabric, it is also soft... It is a fabric with such a good texture.

You can see the pattern of vertical stripes on the fabric, but I wonder if the pattern is woven or if it has come out over time.

The fabric used for the back is made of old Japanese cotton fabric that has a nice atmosphere and is soft.

This time, only 3 pieces were made with this old cloth.

Old Japanese fabric tends to have a strong image of Japanese clothes, but when you look at the fabric without being bound by that stereotype, you can be proud of the Japanese fabric, and I think that it is a good fabric that is made by people.
