Regardless of the country, various things have not yet developed, and I imagined a work jacket that was made in the old days before the mass production process was born, and I made it using old Japanese cloth. is.

This jacket has a simple design with only waist pockets. The body and sleeves are finished in such a way that it follows the body line, so even a work jacket has the impression of a classic jacket.

The fabric used is a Japanese cotton linen fabric that was woven and used during the Meiji and Taisho periods. In Japan, there are vertical stripes, but this fabric has horizontal stripes (borders), which is rare. The white thread is cotton and the beige thread is hemp. The texture is very soft, and the hand-woven expression creates a unique atmosphere.

I think that Japanese fabrics are world-class, well-crafted fabrics, so please feel the fabric that has been reborn as a jacket.

The lining is also made of old Japanese cotton cloth. The fabric is loosely and coarsely woven, so it is soft and allows you to take advantage of the softness of the outer fabric.

The buttons are French vintage shell buttons. Each piece has a different look due to aging.

Cotton thread is used to match the vintage atmosphere.

*This work is sewn entirely with an old treadle sewing machine. You may not understand it at first glance, but I hope you will enjoy the "fluctuation" of the seams that can only be produced by human power rather than by electric power.

*It will be the fabric of nearly 100 years ago. In order to enjoy it for a long time, please wash it after soaking it, and put it in a net for dehydration and turn it lightly.
