Regardless of the country, it is a work jacket made using Japanese sakiori with the image of a work jacket that was made in the old days before the mass production process was born, where various things have not yet developed.

Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of tearing and weaving old clothes that are no longer wearable.

The Sakiori used for the outer material is a cloth found in Iwate Prefecture and is thought to be from the Meiji to Taisho period. I can only imagine what kind of environment there was and what kind of fabric was woven, but compared to the present age, which has become affluent, the expression of the fabric born in a harsh era where the world was completely different, and the normal of the world is completely different.

The button is a French vintage bone (bone) button. At first glance, it looks like wood, but no chemical dyes are used, and natural dyes are used over and over until the color is just right. Please enjoy the buttons with different expressions one by one.

In addition, vintage ciel buttons are used for the power buttons, and each one is attached with a hand-wrapped neck wrap. Buttonholes and clasps are hand-sewn to match the atmosphere of old fabrics. I think that you can feel something like warmth that cannot be produced by machines.

Cotton thread is used to match the vintage atmosphere, and it is partially hand-sewn so that the softness of the linen cloth remains.

You can't get the exact same fabric, and even if you do, you can't make the same thing twice. I feel that the cloth that is sewn by hand stitch by stitch gives a truly rich expression to each piece.

*The fabric is over 100 years old. In order to enjoy it for a long time, please wash it after soaking it, and put it in a net for dehydration and turn it lightly.

*Due to the structure of the cloth called sakiori, it is thought that the time will come when the warp threads will break as you wear it. In that case, please contact us and we will fix it.
