Using JAPAN VINTAGE cotton indigo dyed old cloth,A front-opening type shirt based on the design of a Japanese shirt from the early 1900s.

The design-based shirt is from the well-established shirt brand "CHOYA SHIRT" founded in 1887, and the base shirt is the first one in the early 1900s. The front specifications, the cut at the hem, and the gathers that are finely placed in the center of the back are very nice designs.

The fabric used is a striped old cloth that was woven and used from the Taisho era to the early Showa era. It was actually used, and there was a difference in color depending on the location of the fabric. That is another nice atmosphere, and it has grown into an atmosphere that cannot be imitated by processing.

Since the amount of fabric was not enough with the striped fabric alone, I used indigo-dyed old cloth for the sleeves, which seems to match the atmosphere. The sleeve fabric is an indigo dyed cloth that was used on the back of long clothes in the early Showa period. The atmosphere of the repair at that time was very good, so I took the fabric so that it fits nicely on the sleeves.

The atmosphere of the fabric created by the secular variation over a long period of nearly 100 years makes you feel that there is something special.

When making the shirt, the sleeves are hand-sewn afterwards, and the buttonholes are also hand-sewn. There may be some comfort and button attachment, but I would like you to enjoy the atmosphere by seeing it as a specification that suits older fabrics.

Buttons are also attached with the specifications of bird feet. One side floats due to the shift of the center of gravity, which makes it easier to attach, but please enjoy this as one of the small points that you are particular about.

The button is a French vintage shell button. It has various good facial expressions one by one due to aging.

The thread uses cotton thread to match the old fabric.

* The cloth has been reapplied from the back so that the part where the hole has been opened can be worn so as not to destroy the atmosphere. Since the fabric is old, I make sure that it is not too weak to wear, but it is very delicate. If you handle it with the same feeling as the current fabric, it will put a burden on the fabric, so please use a washing method such as pouring it carefully and dehydrating it lightly.
