Using JAPAN VINTAGE cotton indigo-dyed old cloth,A front-opening shirt based on a Japanese shirt from the early 1900s.

The shirt based on the design is from the long-established shirt brand "CHOYA SHIRT" founded in 1887, and the shirt based on it is one from the early 1900s. The design on the front, the cut at the hem, and the fine gathers in the center of the back give it a very nice design.

The fabric used is indigo-dyed old cloth woven from the Taisho era to the early Showa era. The fabric is a dead stock piece of cloth, and it has a firm texture that feels a little stiff, and it is a good fabric that feels like cotton.

Of course, the color remains dark, so you can enjoy the change over time as you wear it.

Of course, the color will change, but the more you wear it and wash it, the more you will feel it. You can grow your own vintage from scratch, so it is a piece that you will enjoy and love.

In making the shirt, the sleeves are hand-sewn and the buttonholes are also hand-sewn. There may be some issues with the fit and the comfort of the buttons, but I would like you to see it as a specification that matches the old fabric more than that, and enjoy the atmosphere.

The buttons are French vintage shell buttons. Each piece has a different look due to aging.

We use cotton threads to match old fabrics.

*This work is sewn entirely with an old treadle sewing machine. You may not understand it at first glance, but I hope you will enjoy the "fluctuation" of the seams that can only be produced by human power rather than by electric power.

*Washing is done in the state of the fabric considering the shrinkage of the fabric. It has been washed once since it became a work, but there is no noticeable change and you can wear it without problems. Please avoid washing with white items as the color will fade.

*It will be the fabric of nearly 100 years ago. In order to enjoy it for a long time, please wash it after soaking it, and put it in a net for dehydration and turn it lightly.
