It is a SAILOR HAT using the old cloth of the early Showa era of JAPAN VINTAGE.

The fabric on the front is a fabric that was worn as a nagagi in the early Showa era, and the color is a dark gray fabric close to black. It seems that various dyes came out in this era, so I do not know the specific dye, but it is a simple and calm color.

The texture of the fabric is soft, and the fabric is beautifully woven without any neps, so it harmonizes well with the dark gray color and gives a calm impression.

This is the first time I've made a dark gray old Japanese cloth, but it's easy to match, so I think it will be useful all year round.

The inside fabric is a cocoon bag made of old Japanese cloth. It's a nice cotton fabric.

The design is based on the US Navy sailor hat, so the brim stitches are finely stitched like the hats of the time. Please enjoy the expression of fine stitching.
