NEWS BOY CAP made from old Japanese indigo dyed linen fabric.
The fabric used is hemp indigo-dyed old cloth woven from the Meiji to Taisho eras. There is tension unique to hemp, but with a unique texture that moves swayingly, the fabric woven with relatively thick threads also feels profound. The closer the indigo dye is to black, the darker it remains, so you can enjoy the changes over time.
Japanese Kou tends to have a strong image of Japanese clothes, but when you look at the fabric without being bound by its stereotypes, I think that Japanese fabric is a good fabric that people can be proud of in the world.
