MECHANIC CAP using BORO.

BORO refers to the cloth used for worn-out, torn or patched clothing, and Sashiko is an ancient Japanese handicraft technique used to reinforce damaged cloth and protect it from the cold. It is said that it started with sashiko on clothes.

For the outer fabric, two layers of cotton fabric are layered and hand-stitched with indigo-dyed threads to create a fine sashiko pattern.

Compared to the present age, which has become richer, the expression of cloth born in a harsh era where the world was completely different, where there was nothing but poverty, is a unique atmosphere that can only be found in that era. It's brewing.

The parts that were sewn with cotton thread at that time are also kept as they are. There is something indescribable about the way threads are run by human hands, which is not a design or an imitation.

The fabric used for the back is also made of old Japanese cotton fabric with a good atmosphere.

I make use of damage and fraying as they are. You can't make the same thing twice.
