The BORO cloth used for the front is a cloth from the Meiji to Taisho periods that has been used in people's daily lives for over 100 years. I grew up with BORO (boro), which has a good atmosphere with fabric applied over a long time and sashiko. The texture of the fabric is soft, and you can feel the gentle atmosphere of the cloth because it has been living for a long time.

The parts that were sewn with cotton thread at the time are also kept intact. The design and the way the thread runs by hand, which is not something I imitated by looking at it, creates an indescribable atmosphere.

As for this cloth, the generated base has an indigo pattern. The color of the applied cloth was also uniform throughout, and I'm sure the people at the time were thinking about the color scheme when applying the cloth. It's a boro that makes you think. The fabric used for the back is the same old Japanese hemp cloth. It is woven with thin hemp thread, and it has a soft and moving texture that is unique to hemp. The light brown color goes very well with the outer material.
