NORA BAG~type newspaper~french old linen fabric

Based on the bag used by the newspaper deliveryman, this news paper bag is made using old French linen fabric.

The fabric used for the body is taken from the linen apron used in France in the 1950s. NEP unique to the old generation is included, and it has a very good texture with an expression, and it is dead stock, so it has tension.

The flap is a linen shirt that is a little older than the body fabric. The embroidery near the hem is kept in a visible position.

Please enjoy linen with different colors and textures on the body and flap.

The buttons are French vintage cat-eye glass buttons.

Since it is a dead stock fabric, the fabric is still solid, so it is made in one piece without lining.

The buttonholes are hand sewn to match the old fabric. I would like you to see it as a specification that matches the old fabric and enjoy the atmosphere.

The length of the shoulder belt is not adjustable, and the attachment is a simple design with only the button used for closing the flap.

*This work is sewn entirely with an old treadle sewing machine. You may not understand it at first glance, but I hope you will enjoy the "fluctuation" of the seams that can only be produced by human power rather than by electric power.
