This NEWSBOY CAP is made from traditional Japanese indigo-dyed linen fabric.

The fabric used is vintage indigo-dyed linen cloth woven around the Meiji to Taisho era.

Linen has a unique movement and a firm texture. The thin threads make the fabric a little transparent, but it still exudes a solid, heavy feel. The indigo dye is still strong, so you can enjoy watching it change over time.

The fabric used for the lining is also old linen cloth, and the other parts such as the inner tape and piping tape are all made from old Japanese linen cloth. It is breathable and easy to wear.

Compared to today's affluent times, the look of fabrics born in harsh times when poverty was all they had and the norms of the world were completely different gives them a unique atmosphere that could not be created even if one wanted to, and I think Japanese fabrics are wonderful, elaborate fabrics that can be proudly shown off around the world.
