NEWSBOY CAP made from old Japanese linen fabric.

The fabric used is unraveled linen kimono from the early Showa era.

The fabric is densely woven with thin threads and still has some tension, but as you wear it, it will become more familiar and the fabric will become more like linen. It has a dark gray striped pattern. Enjoy the changes in the fabric while wearing it.

The fabric used for the lining, the sliding tape (inner tape), and the piping tape are all made from old Japanese hemp cloth, making it breathable and lightweight and easy to wear.

Japanese old cloth tends to have a strong image of Japanese clothing, but when you look at the fabric without being bound by that stereotype, you realize that it is a wonderful fabric that has been hand-crafted and that can be proud of to the world.

Compared to today's prosperous times, people were poor and that was all they had, and the world was completely different from what was expected of them. I feel it.

*The fabric is made nearly 100 years ago. In order to enjoy it for a long time to come, please soak it in the wash before washing, and spin it gently by placing it in a net for dehydration.
