Based on the details of an old French work jacket, this work is made using old Japanese hemp cloth.

The fabric used is hemp fabric woven from the Meiji to Taisho periods. Since it is a fabric found in rolls, it has a feeling of tension, the condition of the fabric is good, and the loosely woven expression is not found in modern times, and it has the expression of the time when it was born.

Enjoy the process of the fabric becoming softer and changing as you wear it.

Vintage ciel buttons are used for the front and power buttons, and each one is attached by hand with a neck wrap. Buttonholes and clasps are hand-sewn to match the atmosphere of old fabrics. I think that you can feel something like warmth that cannot be produced by machines.

Cotton thread is used to match the vintage atmosphere.

I think that Japanese fabrics are world-class, and they have an elaborate expression .

*This work is sewn entirely with an old treadle sewing machine. You may not be able to tell at first glance, but I hope you will enjoy the "fluctuation" of the seams, which can only be achieved by human power rather than by electric power.

*It will be the fabric of nearly 100 years ago. In order to enjoy it for a long time, please wash it after soaking it, and put it in a net for dehydration.
