This jacket is made using old Japanese striped hemp indigo dyed cloth.

The fabric used is indigo-dyed hemp striped cloth woven from the Meiji to Taisho eras. The type of hemp is hemp, and it has a rough texture that is slightly transparent, and two striped patterns are woven.

It has a swaying movement that is unique to linen, and the texture is rough because the fabric is still in good condition, but it will get used to it as you wear it. Please enjoy it with the aging of indigo dyeing.

The expression of cloth born in a harsh era where the world was completely different from the richer modern era, where there was nothing but poverty, makes me feel a unique atmosphere that can only be found in that era.

The front button is an old Japanese wood button, the cuff is a metal button, and the power button is a vintage Ciel button. Buttonholes and clasps are hand-sewn to match the atmosphere of old fabrics. I think that you can feel something like warmth that cannot be produced by machines.

Cotton thread is used to match the vintage atmosphere.

I think that Japanese fabrics are good fabrics with elaborate expressions that can be proud of to the world. Please take in the good old thing reborn as a jacket in your daily life.

* This work is sewn with an old treadle sewing machine. You may not be able to tell at first glance, but I hope you will enjoy the "fluctuation" of the seams that can only be produced by human power rather than by electric power.

*The fabric is over 100 years old. In order to enjoy it for a long time, please wash it after soaking it, and put it in a net for dehydration and turn it lightly.
