Using JAPAN VINTAGE cotton indigo dyed old cloth,A front-opening type shirt based on the design of a Japanese shirt from the early 1900s.

The design-based shirt is from the well-established shirt brand "CHOYA SHIRT" founded in 1887, and the base shirt is the first one in the early 1900s. The front specifications, the hem cut, and the gathers that are finely placed in the center of the back are very nice designs.

The fabric used is indigo dyed old cloth that was woven and used in the early Showa period. The atmosphere of the fabric created by aging over a long period of nearly 100 years makes you feel that there is something special, and the texture is soft and you can feel the texture of cotton.

When making the shirt, the sleeves are hand-sewn afterwards, and the buttonholes are also hand-sewn. There may be some comfort and button attachment, but I would like you to enjoy the atmosphere by seeing it as a specification that suits older fabrics.

Buttons are also attached with the specifications of bird feet. One side floats due to the shift of the center of gravity, which makes it easier to attach, but please enjoy this as one of the small points that you are particular about.

The button uses a French vintage shell button.

The thread uses cotton thread to match the old fabric.

Wearing a single shirt in the coming warm season will be enough, and I think you can enjoy the layered style by opening the front and using it as a haori or showing the hem.
