Using JAPAN VINTAGE cotton indigo-dyed old cloth,This is an open-front type shirt based on the design of a Japanese shirt from the early 1900s.

The shirt the design is based on is from CHOYA SHIRT, a long-established shirt brand founded in 1887, and the shirt the design is based on is one from the early 1900s. It has a very nice design with the front specifications and hem cut.

The fabric used is an old indigo-dyed cloth woven in the early Showa era. Although the fabric is nearly 100 years old, it is in good condition and the indigo color is a beautiful blue, but it has a unique atmosphere that is different from the blue fabrics you see today. The texture is soft and has a good cotton texture.

Please feel the texture of the fabric on your skin.

When making a shirt, the sleeves are hand-sewn as an afterthought, and the buttonholes are also hand-sewn. It may be a little more comfortable to wear and the buttons may not fit, but I would like you to see it as a specification that matches the old fabric and enjoy the atmosphere.

The buttons are vintage French shell buttons. Due to aging, each piece has a different appearance.

Cotton thread is used to match old fabrics.

*This piece was sewn using an old treadle sewing machine. You might not be able to tell at first glance, but we hope you enjoy the "fluctuation"-like seams that are produced by hand rather than electric power.

*The fabric is made nearly 100 years ago. In order to enjoy it for a long time to come, please soak it in the wash and avoid washing it with white items as the color will fade. When dehydrating, please put it in a net and turn it around gently.
