Since cotton does not grow in the Tohoku region, hemp (hemp) cloth was widely distributed. The definition of Nanbu hemp is not clear, but it is hemp cloth made from cannabis found in Iwate Prefecture.

The fabric has a unique swaying and moving feel that is unique to hemp, and the fabric woven with thick threads has a heavy feel, and the weight of the fabric makes it feel like the fabric is falling.

Compared to the present age, which has become richer, the expression of cloth born in a harsh era where the world was completely different, where there was nothing but poverty, is a unique atmosphere that can not be made even if you try to make it. I feel
