FRENCH VINTAGE SALT & PEPPER CAP ~ type newsboy ~ 59

NEWSBOY CAP made using French dead stock, salt & pepper fabric from the 1920s and 1930s.

Salt and pepper, a fabric called black shan in Japan, is woven using a twist of two black and white threads called 杢 thread, and the fabric used is woven in the old age. I feel the unique color and texture.

In the state of the dough, wash the product several times and once. In the future, since it is a dead stock fabric, the texture will become softer and will change over time.

The fabric used for the back is also a French vintage shirt fabric, which is a good fabric with soft movement. The slippery charcoal gray fabric also uses the cotton fabric found in the French dead stock.

I also made shirts and jackets with the same fabric, but this is the last fabric for this hat.
